Peter hails from Kenya and serves with AIM International as the Director of African Mobilisation. On the MANI Leadership Team he is the Diaspora Coordinator for Europe and is also part of the Steering group of South to North Africa Partnership. Previously he served as a Pastor in Peter-Oyugithe UK for ten years, and as a student worker with Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS) in Kenya and the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF) in the UK for a total of eleven and a half years. He is passionate about the Bible, cross-cultural missions, leadership and student ministry.

Peter is also on the Leadership Team of the Centre for Missionaries from the Majority World, UK, and sits on the Global Connections Council in the UK and Interserve International Council. Other continental and global involvements include WEA Mission Commission Leader’s Cohort, Lausanne Europe 2021 Consultation Planning, the Majority World Christian Leaders’ Conversation (MWCLC), and the East African Mobilisation Network (EAMN) Service Team.

Peter continues to mentor students and graduates of various IFES movements in English and Portuguese Speaking Africa (EPSA) where he continues to speak regularly at their National Mission, Leadership and Discipleship Conferences.

Peter Oyugi serves as the Continental Administrative Coordinator of MANI. He has been catalysing churches and university students in Africa and beyond to be envisioned, equipped, and engaged to participate in global missions. He also coordinates MANI’s diaspora ministry in Europe.

Peter is married to Cecilia and they have two daughters.
