Leaders from churches, mission agencies and national initiatives across Africa and the diaspora gathered in Abidjan for the fifth MANI Continental Consultation, marking 25 years since the founding declaration of MANI in Jerusalem.
It was the first consultation held in Francophone Africa, a deliberate choice for the doorstep of the Sahel, and it included the leadership transition from Rev. Dr. Reuben Ezemadu to Rev. Peter Oyugi as Continental Coordinator.
After five days of plenaries, panels, round tables and prayer, the delegates issued the Abidjan Declaration: six strategic priorities for the decade ahead.
