Horn of Africa
Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti and Sudan.
The Horn of Africa hosted MANI 2016 in Addis Ababa, and its research teams delivered some of the most extensive and best-verified data in the Country Assessment Process.
Research leadership
Data from the Horn and the Indian Ocean Islands was singled out in the CAP evaluation as especially extensive and well verified. The region’s coordinator has facilitated the Country Assessment Process in the Horn since 2008.
Church planting among the least-reached
Ethiopian churches have pioneered church-planting work among unreached peoples such as the Borana of southern Ethiopia, and organisations in Addis Ababa now focus on church-planting movements among unreached peoples across Africa.
