Diaspora — Europe
African believers in Europe: not displaced, but deployed.
The Abidjan Declaration reframes the African diaspora “not as displacement but as sovereign deployment”. In Europe, African churches are planting congregations in cities where indigenous Christians have retreated.
Coordination
Rev. Peter Oyugi, now Continental Coordinator, previously led MANI’s diaspora ministry in Europe. He leads on the Centre for Missionaries from the Majority World (UK) and sits on the Global Connections Council.
A message to the diaspora
“You were not scattered. You were deployed on the Master’s Kingdom assignment.” — Abidjan Declaration
