MANI is coordinated by a Continental Coordinator, regional coordinators and network facilitators, supported by an international advisory team.

Continental Coordinator
Rev. Peter Oyugi
Peter hails from Kenya and serves with AIM International as Director of African Mobilisation. Before becoming Continental Coordinator he served as MANI’s Continental Administrative Coordinator and Diaspora Coordinator for Europe, and sits on the steering group of the South-to-North Africa Partnership (S2NAP).
He served as a pastor in the UK for ten years and spent eleven and a half years as a student worker with FOCUS in Kenya and UCCF in the UK. He leads on the Centre for Missionaries from the Majority World (UK) and serves on the Global Connections Council and the WEA Mission Commission Leaders’ Cohort. He continues to mentor students and graduates across English- and Portuguese-speaking Africa.

Served as MANI’s pioneer Continental Coordinator for twenty years, to the leadership transition at the Abidjan 2026 consultation. Founding Director of the Christian Missionary Foundation (Nigeria) and former General Coordinator of the Third World Missions Association.

What do coordinators do?
Continental and regional coordinators function together as a team: catalysing and keeping the MANI vision; planning and facilitating the MANI process; developing policies and codes of practice; providing and requiring accountability; encouraging national coordinators; facilitating regional consultations; and liaising with global and continental networks.
Selection criteria
Credibility · Experience · Bridge-building · Spiritual maturity · Vision for the evangelisation of the region or country · Team player · Leadership with organisational support · Faith to trust God for resources · Ability to communicate in the regional language and respond within 72 hours · A proactive spirit.
Regional coordinator job description
Cast and stimulate the MANI vision across the region; facilitate ongoing national initiatives and see new ones launched; mentor national coordinators and network leaders; coordinate regional programmes; generate resources and keep accurate accounts; identify credible leaders; and provide liaison between national initiatives and the continent.
National coordinator job description
Cast the vision in the country; facilitate national and state or provincial initiatives; encourage network coordinators; coordinate national activities; remain accountable to the regional coordinator; and communicate MANI’s objectives upward to the regional and continental levels.
