East Africa

East Africa has been central to MANI’s story: Nairobi hosted MANI 2006, the leadership team’s meetings in Karen, and the 1st African Congress on Discipleship.

National initiatives

• Finish the Task Kenya emerged in the wake of GCOWE ’97 and continues as a national movement focused on unreached and un-churched peoples.
• When Kenyan leaders learned that ethnic groups in their highly evangelised country had no missionaries or churches, they formed a network and reached each of them — a story that shaped MANI’s research mandate.
